THE SHORT VERSION

Your images are never uploaded to our servers because there are no servers involved in cropping. Image Cropper Online runs 100% in your browser, we do not collect personal data, we do not set tracking cookies and we do not run analytics or ads. This page explains the details in plain English.

INFORMATION WE DO NOT COLLECT

• Your images, photos or files — they are processed locally and never transmitted to us
• Account details — we have no signup, so we hold no names, emails or passwords
• Tracking data — no analytics scripts, no ad networks, no social media pixels
• Location or device fingerprints — we have no code that reads them

INFORMATION STORED ON YOUR DEVICE

We use your browser's localStorage for one thing only: remembering your light or dark mode preference so the site looks the way you left it. This value is stored on your device under the key croply-theme and is never transmitted anywhere. You can clear it at any time from your browser settings without affecting the tool.

COOKIES

This website does not set any cookies. No consent banner is needed because there is nothing to consent to.

THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

The only third party involved in serving this site is Google Fonts. The typeface used across the site is loaded from Google's font servers (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com), and like any web request, your browser's IP address is shared with them when the font is fetched. Google handles this data under its own privacy policy. If you prefer to block third-party font requests entirely, the site still works with system fonts substituted by your browser.

HOW YOUR IMAGES ARE HANDLED

When you open a file, JavaScript reads it from your device and renders it to a local canvas. Every action — cropping, rotating, adjusting, exporting — happens on your machine. The result is written back to you as a download. At no point does any pixel of your image travel over the network, which means we could not access it even if we wanted to.

CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

Image Cropper Online is suitable for general audiences and collects no data from anyone, including children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information through any channel, contact us and we will remove it.

CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

If we ever add features that change what this page says — for example an optional account or statistics — we will update this policy and revise the date above before those features go live. We recommend checking this page occasionally.
